Roam + . : is a collaboration project of Chris Ranford and Jake Boex. The view is that teachings of yoga and meditation merged with environmental pursuits bring an enhanced experience of self and a deeper sense of connection. In order to do this Chris and Jake will be partnering with a variety of organisations, businesses and individuals across the globe to deliver a series of workshops and events throughout 2017. 

Chris Ranford

Chris grew up at Gwithian in West Cornwall, UK, from a young age developed a passion for the natural environment by being in the sea, surfing. With international experience of coastal and marine management combined with years of experience teaching surfing, Chris guides and connects people with the ocean. Chris is also a Surfers Against Sewage regional representative and has worked closely with the organisation for the last 8 years exploring ways of bringing communities together to address global issues.

jake boex

Jake is an ex professional surfer turned yoga and meditation teacher operating under yoga-meditation based in Cornwall, UK. Blending passions of yoga and surfing Jake creates an electric mix of ancient and modern in unifying mind, body and environment through Hatha Yoga and Mindfulness Meditation. A former professional surfer with postgraduate qualifications in Mindfulness and PhD in Climate Science Jake explores 'not-knowing' as a route to experiential understanding.
